On your way to class make sure to allow a little extra time to browse through all of the incredible artwork at the gallery of the Pinole Artisans.
~ Class fliers will be available at the Art Center along with a photo of sample projects by the first of the month.
~ All necessary tools will be available for use during the time of class
~ If time allows we will fire pieces at the class. If not, I will fire them at my studio and return them to the Art Center where you will be able to pick them up

RIVETED BIRD with moveable wings & legs
In this class we will be making a flat bodied bird and seperate wings and legs using a 28 gram package of PMC+. We will then fire your birds in a kiln, polish and add a patina if desired. Bring a lunch to eat during this time and/or run over to Pinoles' Cruising in the Sun festivities! I will then teach you how to assemble your wings and legs to the body using rivets. The rivets will enable the wngs and legs to move. All necessary tools will be provided for use during class. If you have any question, let me know. All levels welcome.

BIRDHOUSE PENDANT
In this class you will be making a three dimensional birdhouse. This will be a challenging class with many skills to develop but it should be lots of fun. The birdhouse itself will be hollow with a roof. The outside can be embellished with clay adornments, syringe work and/or cubic zirconium. Cubic Zirconium will be available for purchase at the class. I will take your pieces to my studio to be fired in a kiln, polished and to add a patina if requested. Your pieces will then be returned to the gallery for pick up. Bring a lunch. DICHROIC GLASS PENDANT
In this class we will be using PMC3 and dichroic glass to make a necklace. I will have stamps, molds, texture plates, and more available for your use. Dichroic Glass and CZs’ will be available for you to purchase. I will take the pieces to my studio for firing as the firing process for the glass is longer and return them to the PAC for you to pick up.
